Jennifer Aniston, 57, and Courteney Cox, 61, Prove Hollywood Friendships Can Actually Last—Here’s How They’ve Done It
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have one of the longest-lasting friendships in Hollywood, and fans can’t get enough of it. The two actresses met in 1994 on the set of “Friends,” and over the decades, their bond has only grown stronger.
Speaking to People while promoting her new LolaVie Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo, Jennifer Aniston shared a glimpse into her friendship with Cox. “We usually talk interior design,” she said. “It kind of bores people to tears when we get into a room together. But it’s what we love. It’s our love language.” Aniston also credited Cox for teaching her so much over the years. “What haven’t I learned from Courtney?” she added.
Their friendship extends beyond just the two of them. Aniston’s inner circle includes Selena Gomez, who helps her navigate social media. “Selena helps me lean into social media. And she’s just an angel that I love to spend time with,” Aniston told People. She also maintains a tradition of Friendsgiving with Cox, Sandra Bullock, and other close friends, celebrating the holiday with laughter, Polaroid photos, and good company.
Even with her busy schedule, Aniston makes time for her longtime friend. She recently shared her relaxing routine, which includes spending time with her dogs and listening to music by Benson Boone, Alex Warner, Death Cab for Cutie, and Radiohead. Despite all her projects, she said her friendship with Cox remains a priority.
Their bond was on full display in 2023 when Courteney Cox received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Aniston and fellow “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow were there to support her. “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that. From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you,” Aniston said during the ceremony.
Lisa Kudrow also praised Cox, calling her “the definition of a truly beautiful, talented and what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being.” Aniston concluded with a heartfelt message: “We are so proud of you, we love you, you’re sisters from another mister and we love you.”
Their friendship has lasted through decades of fame, public attention, and life changes. It’s clear that Aniston and Cox aren’t just co-stars, they are sisters at heart.
Friendships like theirs are rare in Hollywood, and it’s inspiring to see two stars maintain such a strong connection. What do you think about their bond? Share your thoughts in the comments.
