Our mission is simple: to teach, inform, and celebrate the world of comics with fans of all levels.
Our origin story
Every hero has an origin story, and ours began in 2016. Founded by Joel and Jeff, Comic Basics was created as a place to educate the world about superheroes while having a blast doing it. Whether you’ve been collecting since the Silver Age or just walked out of your first Marvel or DC movie, you have a home here.
Expanding the multiverse
In September 2022, Comic Basics was acquired by Incomera d.o.o., a media company dedicated to high-quality entertainment content.
To better serve our massive community of readers and get even closer to the heart of the comic book industry, we have expanded our operations internationally. Today, Comic Basics is powered by a joint effort between:
