50 Cent Sparks Controversy With Offensive Photo of Jay-Z, Suggests He’ll Be the Next Diddy
50 Cent appears to have set his sights on Jay-Z after previously gloating over Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal troubles. According to his Instagram activity, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, shared a highly offensive caricature of Jay-Z. The image depicted the rapper in a style reminiscent of the old Camel cigarettes mascot, Joe Cool.
Adding to the controversy, 50 Cent liked a comment under the post that read, “My only question: he’s next, isn’t he?” This move sparked speculation that he may be aiming to provoke Jay-Z next. In classic 50 Cent trolling fashion, he captioned the post, “Please stop sending me stuff like this I’m not gonna post it!”
50 Cent has recently been in the spotlight for his involvement with the Netflix documentary series Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which he executive produced. The series details Diddy’s career, personal life, and alleged criminal activities, and it has become a hit on the streaming platform.
Diddy himself has faced significant legal challenges in recent years. After being arrested at a New York City hotel in September 2024, his trial began on May 5, and concluded on July 2. The jury found Combs guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution, involving ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, another former partner, and male sex workers.
50 Cent has never shied away from controversy, and this latest post shows he continues to enjoy stirring the pot. While it’s unclear how Jay-Z will respond, it’s safe to say this feud could escalate.
