’56 Days’ Star Dove Cameron Shares Black-and-White Wedding Photos From Her Tuscan Ceremony to Damiano David
Dove Cameron’s wedding to Damiano David has been one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the early autumn. From the first photos of the couple dressed in white on the streets of Montalcino to the behind-the-scenes images that followed, fans have been piecing together the weekend one glimpse at a time.
The celebration began on September 24 with a civil ceremony at the Palazzo dei Priori, Montalcino’s medieval town hall in Tuscany. Cameron skipped the traditional gown for a custom Giorgio Armani bridal suit with a one-shoulder cape, while David wore a double-breasted ivory suit by Giuliva Heritage.
The weekend stretched across three days. A sunset welcome dinner among the vineyards of the Castiglion del Bosco estate followed on September 25, and the main celebration on September 26 drew more than 200 guests.
Now Cameron is sharing her own pictures. The actress shared black-and-white photos from the wedding that, and the images quickly drew thousands of likes and reposts from fans.
In one, the couple steps out of an arched stone doorway in matching white outfits, framed by draped fabric and clusters of white flowers. In the other, they kiss in the middle of a cloud of confetti and petals, with a bouquet of white blooms clasped in her hand.
Her caption gives the date of the wedding and notes that it came three years after their first date in New York. That detail lines up with the timeline reported for the couple, whose romance was first noticed in September 2023 after she attended a Måneskin show at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The pair first met at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, but E! News reported that they almost missed their moment because David didn’t seem interested in talking to her at first. They reconnected the following year, and he invited her to the New York concert.
They made their red carpet debut as a couple at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala in February 2024, where Cameron wore a strapless red gown and the two shared a very public kiss. In October 2025, they sparked engagement rumors when photographed in matching black outfits in Sydney, with Cameron wearing a diamond on her ring finger.
She confirmed the news on Instagram in January 2026 with a caption about her favorite part of being alive. She later revealed on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ that David had actually proposed in October 2025 at their shared home. The engagement rings carry matching inscriptions inside, with his reading that she is the best part of being alive and hers saying that he is her favorite part.
The style moments have been a big part of the story. Cameron told Vogue earlier this year that she didn’t want her wedding day to feel too traditional, and the Armani suit delivered on that promise. WWD described the look as an elongated blazer with sharp shoulders, a cinched and belted waist, a white tie and a semi-sheer blouse.
Vogue also reported that she changed outfits during the celebration, with looks from several Italian designers. According to that coverage, she wore a Valentino dress created under creative director Alessandro Michele for the main celebration, and she walked down the aisle with her mother, Bonnie.
Details such as a vintage white Lancia convertible and a hillside resort setting added to the cinematic feel. The wedding also gave Cameron a chance to marry in her husband’s home country, with the couple choosing Italy after announcing their engagement.
For Cameron, who rose to fame on Disney Channel’s ‘Liv and Maddie’ and ‘Descendants’ before building a music career, the marriage marks a major milestone. She was 30 at the time of the wedding, and David was 27.
Cameron has also spoken about feeling anxiety over opening her relationships up to the public. The fact that she is now sharing her own wedding photos suggests that she is comfortable letting fans in on this chapter, even if she keeps most of it close to her chest.
The black-and-white images give the story a timeless quality, and they will likely be just the first in a series of posts from the celebration. For now, fans have plenty to look at and plenty to say about a wedding that felt tailor-made for the couple.
