Chloë Grace Moretz Marries Kate Harrison Over Labor Day Weekend
Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison are officially married. The actress, 28, and the model, 34, celebrated their wedding over Labor Day weekend, Vogue reported. The couple, who have kept their relationship mostly private, made the day very personal, including activities they both enjoy.
Before the wedding, Moretz told Vogue, “A big part of the wedding [is about] sharing things that Kate and I love with everyone that’s going to be there. So there’s fishing, horseback riding and poker. Kate made a custom poker mat herself, so we’re going to kind of be leaning into it. Our second day is going to be line dancing and everything.”
Both brides wore Louis Vuitton outfits for the ceremony and after-party. True to tradition, they did not see each other’s wedding looks beforehand, even though they were in Paris at the same time for fittings. Moretz’s after-party outfit was a custom white jacket and trousers paired with a cowboy hat.
Her wedding dress and veil were light blue, accessorized with long matching gloves. “It just feels like me,” she said. “I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.”
Harrison wore a traditional white dress for the ceremony with a sweetheart neckline and a cathedral-length veil. For the after-party, she wore a bodice and trousers with a sheer overlay and thin metallic straps. “The thing I’m the most excited for — other than being married — is that first look moment,” she said. “Having no idea of what we look like in our dresses, it’s going to be so special. This dress just kind of makes you feel ready. This design is perfect. I’m ready!”
Moretz said what she is most excited about in marriage is simply being together. “We’ve been together for almost seven years and making this promise to each other in a new way, and exchanging these vows. I think it’s important to just stay every day choosing each other,” she shared.
The couple has been linked since 2018, first spotted kissing at Nobu in Malibu. Engagement rumors began in April 2024 when both were seen wearing rings on their left hands during a Disneyland trip. Moretz also showed a ring in public during a Louis Vuitton event in Shanghai and in photos shared on Instagram throughout 2024.
Even though their romance is now public, the couple has preferred to stay private. In a 2022 interview with iNews, Moretz said, “I like to keep my private life private. I’m in a long-term relationship. And I really enjoy that.”
The wedding marks the next chapter for Moretz and Harrison after years together, celebrated with personal touches and a ceremony full of love.
