Damon plays Lieutenant Dane Dumars, while Affleck takes on the role of Detective Sergeant JD Byrne. The film also features Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Néstor Carbonell, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, and Lina Esco, who appears as Captain Jackie Velez.
The project first gained attention in 2024 when it was revealed that Damon and Affleck would not only star but also produce through their company, Artists Equity. After some time on the market, Netflix secured distribution rights. More cast members were added later that year, and filming began in Los Angeles in October 2024. Additional scenes were shot in New Jersey before production wrapped that December.
Carnahan, known for his work in action and crime films, both wrote and directed the movie. The trailer teases an intense story of money, power, and betrayal, with Damon and Affleck back together leading a strong ensemble.
