Netflix Unveils Thriller Trailer for “The Asset,” Promising High-Stakes Undercover Drama
Netflix has released the trailer for its new Danish-language spy thriller, “The Asset,” and it promises a tense, high-stakes story.
The six-part series follows agent Tea, played by Clara Dessau, as she goes undercover in a dangerous criminal organization. To gather crucial intelligence, Tea befriends Ashley, the girlfriend of the mob boss, but soon finds that the lines between right and wrong are not so clear.
Originally titled Legenden in Denmark, “The Asset” dives deep into the world of crime and deception. Netflix describes the series as exploring Tea’s struggle to navigate her mission while facing the harsh realities of the criminal empire and her own shifting loyalties.

Director Samanou Acheche Sahlstrøm explained why the story stood out to them, saying, “I was drawn to tell this story because it explores the complexities of identity and loyalty under extreme pressure. Through Tea’s journey, we see how far someone is willing to go to do what they believe is right – also, when the lines between good and evil become blurred.”
The series also stars Maria Cordsen, Afshin Firouzi, Nicolas Bro, Soheil Bavi, Arian Kashef, and Lara Ly Melic Skovgaard. Fans can expect a mix of suspense, moral dilemmas, and intense character-driven storytelling.
“The Asset” is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 27, just in time for a thrilling Halloween binge. The newly released trailer gives viewers a first look at the gripping drama and Tea’s undercover mission.
