‘SNL’ Unveils Upcoming Hosts and Musical Acts for Season 51
NBC’s Saturday Night Live has announced the next three hosts and musical guests for its 51st season.
Miles Teller, known for Top Gun: Maverick and Eternity, will host the Nov. 1 episode, with Brandi Carlile performing as the musical guest. This will be Teller’s second time hosting, while Carlile will appear for the fourth time.
A week later, comedian Nikki Glaser will make her SNL hosting debut on Nov. 8. She will be joined by Sombr, who is also making their first appearance on the show.
The Nov. 15 episode will feature actor Glen Powell, known for The Running Man and Chad Powers, as host. Olivia Dean will perform as the musical guest, marking her debut on SNL.
These announcements come just before the next episode, which features Sabrina Carpenter serving as both host and musical guest. The show will then take a brief one-week break before returning on Nov. 1, according to The Wrap.
Season 51 began on Oct. 4 with Bad Bunny hosting and Doja Cat performing. On Oct. 11, Amy Poehler returned as host to celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary, joined by former cast members Tina Fey and Seth Meyers. Charli XCX also made a surprise appearance during that episode.
This season has seen some major cast changes over the summer. Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, and Emil Wakim all left the series, making room for new cast members Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska. Returning players include Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, James Austin Johnson, Mikey Day, Kenan Thompson, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Andrew Dismukes, Marcello Hernández, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, and Jane Wickline.
New episodes air live Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and stream on Peacock.
