First Look: ‘The Night Manager’ Season 2 Teaser Drops from BBC and Amazon
Tom Hiddleston is returning as Jonathan Pine in the highly anticipated second season of The Night Manager.
The BBC and Amazon released the first teaser trailer, marking Pine’s return eight years after the original BAFTA and Emmy-winning season. The trailer premiered on the BBC just before the finale of The Celebrity Traitors, a program that drew over 13.2 million viewers in the UK.
In this new season, Pine is living under the name Alex Goodwin, working a quiet MI6 surveillance job in London. His life is calm until he spots a former Roper mercenary, which draws him into a dangerous situation involving Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos, played by Diego Calva.
Pine teams up with Roxana Bolaños, portrayed by Camila Morrone, to infiltrate Teddy’s arms operation. The story follows them into Colombia, where Pine faces a deadly conspiracy, and trust becomes a rare and critical commodity.

The Night Manager is created and executive produced by David Farr, based on John le Carré’s characters.
Georgi Banks-Davies directs, with production handled by The Ink Factory in association with Character 7, Demarest Films, and 127 Wall, in co-production with Spanish company Nostromo Pictures. The project features a large team of executive producers, including Stephen Garrett, Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, and Tessa Inkelaar, among others.
The teaser promises a tense and action-packed season, showing that Jonathan Pine’s quiet life is over and danger is never far behind.
