Amazon Prime has unveiled the first trailer for “Fallout” Season 2, giving fans a look at Lucy and the Ghoul as they head into the dangerous city of New Vegas. The new season continues their journey through the Mojave Wasteland after the dramatic events of Season 1.

At the end of the first season, Lucy was on a mission to find her father after he betrayed her. Meanwhile, the Ghoul was searching for his family, who might have survived the Great War.

Amazon Prime describes the new season as picking up “in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and tak[ing] audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.”

This season introduces Justin Theroux as Robert House, a major character from the “Fallout” universe. House is the leader of the New Vegas Strip. In the story, he orchestrated a nuclear attack on the Mojave to secure Vault-Tec’s success and preserves his body in a coma to control the city when he wakes.

Theroux joins returning cast members Ella Prunell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. The series is produced by Kilter Films with Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham as executive producers. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are showrunners and also serve as executive producers.

Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios, along with James Altman for Bethesda Softworks, are executive producers as well. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce the show in partnership with Bethesda.

“Fallout” Season 2 is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 17. New episodes will release weekly until the season finale on February 4.
