Paris Hilton Responds to Reports Ghislaine Maxwell Tried to Set Her Up with Jeffrey Epstein
Paris Hilton has responded to reports that Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her for Jeffrey Epstein. The 44-year-old socialite spoke to The Times about claims from music composer Christopher Mason, who said Maxwell had targeted Hilton when she was younger.
It’s unclear exactly when or where this encounter was supposed to have happened. Hilton was photographed with Maxwell and Donald Trump at the Anand Jon Fashion Show in New York City on September 18, 2000.
“I don’t even remember ever meeting her,” Hilton told The Times. “I’m such a good clickbait name.”
According to Mason, in the 2020 docuseries Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, his friend saw Maxwell at a party looking for younger girls to introduce to Epstein.
Mason recalled Maxwell spotting a teenage girl and saying, “Oh my God, who’s that? Do you know her?” When told it was Paris Hilton, Maxwell allegedly said, “God, she’d be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce us?” Mason added, “At the time, it seemed a bit naughty.”
Epstein’s criminal history is well-documented. In 2008, he pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution, including with a minor, and served 13 months in prison. Over a decade later, in July 2019, Epstein was arrested again for allegedly trafficking dozens of minors between 2002 and 2005 in New York and Florida.
He pleaded not guilty but died by suicide in a New York City jail the following month. His case was later dismissed, though many questions about his past and alleged associates remain.
Victims of Epstein continue to seek justice, with efforts to compile lists of individuals who may have been involved in his trafficking network. Congress is also debating the release of investigation files, after the Trump administration claimed the client list promised for months does not exist.
In a July Truth Social post, Trump called the file requests a “hoax.” He recently said he “doesn’t care” if more documents are released and urged House Republicans to back the upcoming vote, writing, “House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax.”
