Millie Bobby Brown is speaking out about her close friendship with David Harbour following a recent report suggesting she filed a bullying complaint against her Stranger Things co-star.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brown, 21, emphasized the importance of their long-standing bond. “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,” she said, reflecting on the pair’s appearance together at the season 5 premiere in Los Angeles.

Brown explained that their connection has always been strong. “We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years. I mean, we have always been united in that,” she told the outlet, highlighting why they chose to present a united front amidst the rumors.

The claims originated from a November 1 report by the Daily Mail, which said Brown allegedly filed a bullying and harassment complaint with Netflix against Harbour, 50. The report cited an unnamed source and specified that the complaint did not involve sexual harassment. However, the story has not been independently verified.

Celebrity gossip source Deuxmoi added on a podcast that the issue may have been a minor on-set misunderstanding related to lines, which was reportedly resolved quickly. Deuxmoi cautioned that she “can’t say for sure” as she had not seen the complaint herself.

The timing of the allegations coincided with the release of music by Harbour’s ex-wife, Lily Allen, which detailed personal struggles in their relationship.

At the Los Angeles premiere on November 6, the Stranger Things cast and crew attended alongside the series creators Matt and Ross Duffer and producer Shawn Levy, who avoided direct commentary on the reports.

Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter, “We’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”
