The First Trailer for the Diddy Documentary from 50 Cent Is Now Out
Netflix has released the first trailer for “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” a new documentary series that looks at the long list of s***** misconduct claims surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. The miniseries, directed by Alex Stapleton, is set to arrive on the platform on December 2, 2025.

The project has been in the works for some time. Back in late 2023, 50 Cent said he was creating a series focused on the accusations made against Combs. He also explained that the money from the project would go toward people who said they were harmed by the music mogul.
Netflix later stepped in and made the production official in September 2024. That update came just days after Combs was taken into custody on charges that included racketeering, s** trafficking, and transporting someone for pr*******.
When Netflix confirmed the series, 50 Cent and director Stapleton released a statement about why they wanted to tell this story. They said, “This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far. We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”
Along with 50 Cent and Stapleton, David Karabinas is also part of the executive team behind the series. With the new trailer now out, the documentary is already drawing attention as viewers wait to see how the series handles such serious accusations.
