WWE manager Paul Heyman faced criticism after shoving a young fan during a recent event. The incident happened on Saturday, November 29, at Petco Park in San Diego, following WWE’s Survivor Series: WarGames, according to reports from PEOPLE and video footage shared on TikTok.

Heyman, 60, was leaving the arena with wrestler Logan Paul after their team won the WarGames match. A boy managed to get through the security surrounding the WWE stars and reached toward Heyman. In the video, Heyman grabs the boy with both hands and pushes him back into the crowd.

The clip quickly went viral, earning more than 400,000 views on TikTok and circulating on X, where one repost exceeded 1 million views. WWE did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Fans had mixed reactions to the incident. Some criticized Heyman, saying the shove was unnecessary. Others defended him, arguing he needed to stay in character. Some viewers also questioned the security team, suggesting they should have prevented the boy from reaching Heyman in the first place.

One fan wrote, “This is why you should never meet your heroes in person…and now we have one more villain to deal with.” Another joked, “Little did Paul know… this experience triggered this young man’s villain arc.”

Others focused on the child’s parents and personal responsibility. “Personally I don’t think that kid should have gone up to Paul in the first place! And definitely don’t try and lay your hands on him! Where were the parents to restrain him and tell him to stay put? I don’t think this is Paul’s fault at all!”
