Jennifer Aniston Faces Heat After Not Helping Boyfriend With Mobility Aid
Jennifer Aniston is facing criticism after she was seen not holding the door for her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, at Cafe Cluny in New York City. The Daily Mail reported on Monday, December 1, that the Friends star left the restaurant first, leaving Curtis, who uses a cane, to manage the door on his own.

Aniston, 56, appeared to be focused on her phone and her driver at the time, according to the outlet. Curtis, 50, has previously been open about his health struggles. The National Enquirer reported that he was diagnosed with lesions on his spinal cord at age 22, which made walking very difficult.
For years, Curtis quietly battled muscle spasms, nerve damage, and chronic fatigue. A source said that he often told people his condition was due to a motorcycle accident. “Jim is incredibly self-conscious about the way he walks. It’s the first thing he worries people notice,” the source added.
Aniston and Curtis began dating earlier this year. They have been seen together publicly several times, and Aniston confirmed their relationship in November by referring to Curtis as “my love” in an Instagram post.
The door incident has drawn attention online, with some questioning Aniston’s behavior toward her partner.
Small gestures, like holding a door, can matter a lot when someone has mobility challenges. This moment may seem minor, but it highlights how small acts of kindness can make a difference. Do you think the criticism of Aniston is fair? Share your thoughts in the comments.
