Travis Kelce Says He and Taylor Swift Haven’t Had a Single Argument in Their Relationship

Travis Kelce opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift, saying they’ve never had a single argument in their two-and-a-half years together. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the revelation during the December 3 episode of his podcast, New Heights, where he was interviewing George Clooney.

Kelce brought up Clooney’s previous comment about never arguing with his wife, Amal Clooney, in their ten years of marriage. Clooney responded by turning the question back on Kelce.

“No, I’m not lying,” Clooney said. “Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?”

Kelce laughed and admitted, “Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I haven’t gotten into an argument. Never once.”

Clooney explained why he and Amal avoid fights, saying, “Neither of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in? Dude, I’m 64 years old. And what am I gonna argue about at this point? You know? I’ve met this incredible woman that is, she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world. And I can’t believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?”

He also encouraged Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, to follow the same approach. Travis joked about taking notes, saying, “I am for sure. I’m just taking notes this whole time, big guy. You don’t even know.”

Travis and Taylor first connected in 2023 after Travis publicly shared his frustration about not being able to meet her at her Kansas City Eras tour show. Swift called the move “metal as hell” in a Time magazine interview, and the pair have been together ever since. In August, they announced their engagement.

Beyond their relationship, Swift also appeared on Kelce’s podcast to introduce her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. Released on October 3, the album had a record-breaking debut on the Billboard 200, selling four million units in its first week. The album’s tracks dominated the Billboard Hot 100, with the lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” hitting number one.

Travis and Taylor’s love story seems calm and drama-free, at least according to Kelce’s account. It’s rare to hear a couple, especially high-profile ones, describe their relationship as completely argument-free.
