[Watch] Rod Stewart Stops Concert to Yell at a Fan for Spoiling the Show
Rod Stewart had an unexpected outburst at a fan during a concert in Athens, Greece, leaving the audience surprised.
The 80-year-old rock legend was performing a set of 25 songs, including hits like Maggie May, You Wear It Well, and Hot Legs, when the incident occurred.
The drama unfolded during his performance of Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?. Stewart appeared to confront a fan who was upset about another audience member holding up a sign.
Gesturing toward the front of the stage, he shouted into the microphone: “Out the f**** way. You’re spoiling the show for everybody. Out the way. Leave. We don’t need you here!”
He then addressed the fan holding the sign, asking: “All she’s doing is putting up a sign. It’s not hurting you is it, mate?” After the confrontation, Stewart turned back to the band and said: “OK, from the top… where we left off.”
A video of the moment quickly circulated on TikTok, capturing the unexpected scene. Some fans speculated that Stewart, who was carrying a football on stage, might still have been upset after his beloved Celtic lost the Premier Sports Cup to St Mirren earlier that day, a 3-1 defeat at Hampden Park.
