Matt Damon stars as Odysseus. Nolan has described the character as “an amazing strategist, [and] a very wily person,” and said he was drawn to Odysseus’s cleverness and inventiveness.

Anne Hathaway plays Penelope, while Tom Holland appears as Telemachus, Odysseus’s determined son. Zendaya takes on the role of Athena, the goddess who protects Odysseus. Robert Pattinson plays Antinous, one of Penelope’s suitors, and Charlize Theron is Circe, a goddess and witch.

The movie also features Jon Bernthal, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Lupita Nyong’o, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, and many others in supporting roles.

The story promises a mix of adventure and mythology. Odysseus faces challenges from mythical creatures and gods, including the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and Circe, as he fights to return home. The film blends action, drama, and fantasy to bring Homer’s tale to life.
