Ice Cube Joins the Fun in Final Trailer for Wild ‘Anaconda’ Reboot with Paul Rudd and Jack Black
The final trailer for Anaconda, a new action-comedy film, has just dropped, giving fans a first look at the movie’s mix of laughs and thrills.
The film is a meta-reboot of the 1997 Anaconda and features a star-studded cast including Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello. Ice Cube and Jennifer Lopez also make cameo appearances. According to Sony Pictures, the movie is set to hit theaters in the United States on December 25.
Directed by Tom Gormican, who co-wrote the script with Kevin Etten, Anaconda follows Doug and Griff, played by Jack Black and Paul Rudd. The two friends head into the Amazon to shoot an amateur remake of the original Anaconda. What starts as a lighthearted project turns deadly when a real giant anaconda shows up, putting everyone’s lives at risk.

Rudd plays Ronald “Griff” Griffen Jr., a background actor, while Black stars as Doug McCallister, a wedding videographer.
Their friends Kenny and Claire, played by Steve Zahn and Thandiwe Newton, join the adventure. Daniela Melchior appears as Ana Almeida, and Selton Mello plays Santiago Braga, a snake handler. Ione Skye plays Doug’s wife Malie McCallister, and Ben Lawson also appears in the cast.
