An unreleased song connected to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has surfaced online. The track is called Put It In Words and is performed by Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Verse movies.

According to reports from fans and music pages on social media, the song leaked online in mid-December. The track was recorded during the production of the first Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie back in 2018 but was never included in the final film or its official soundtrack. Until now, the song had stayed hidden.

The leak quickly caught attention across platforms like X and TikTok, where fans began sharing clips and reacting to the discovery. Many were surprised to hear new music from that era of the franchise, especially since the film’s soundtrack is already widely praised.

You can check out the song on YouTube.

Hailee Steinfeld has played a major role in the Spider-Verse world. While Put It In Words did not make the cut for the first movie, she remained involved with the music side of the franchise. In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, she appeared on tracks like Annihilate and Self Love, showing her continued connection to the series beyond voice acting.

The original Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack is often credited as one of the film’s biggest strengths. It blends hip-hop with orchestral sounds to match Miles Morales’ journey.

Songs like Sunflower helped show his everyday life, while tracks like What’s Up Danger marked his growth into a hero. Composer Daniel Pemberton also stood out for mixing classic scoring with modern sounds like scratching and heavy bass.
