New Details Emerge About the Possible Cause of Death of Tommy Lee Jones’ Daughter Victoria
Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, has died at the age of 34. Authorities confirmed she was found unresponsive inside a room at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel on January 1. The information was confirmed by Fox News Digital.
Emergency crews were sent to the hotel early that morning after a call was made reporting a medical situation. The San Francisco Fire Department told Fox News Digital that its teams arrived shortly before 3 a.m. Paramedics checked the person at the scene and later confirmed that she had died.
Audio from the emergency call, later shared by People, suggests the situation may have involved drugs. The call was described as a “code 3 for the overdose, color change.” Despite this, officials have not released an official cause of death.
Police officers from the San Francisco Police Department also went to the hotel and arrived a short time after firefighters. The case is now being handled by both police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The medical examiner’s office confirmed to Fox News Digital that the deceased was Victoria Jones. So far, no final ruling has been made public.
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his former wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. The two were married for several years and also share a son named Austin. Unlike her famous father, Victoria lived most of her life away from public attention.
She did try acting for a short period and appeared in a few movies and TV shows. Some of her work included projects connected to her father. Her screen credits included Men in Black II, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, The Homesman, and the TV series One Tree Hill.
Her last public appearance was in 2017, when she attended a movie premiere with her father. Since then, she stayed largely out of the spotlight.
