Amy Schumer Shows Off Bikinis on Post-Divorce Self-Care Trip
Amy Schumer is stepping into a new chapter of her life with confidence and self-love. On Sunday, January 4, the 44-year-old actress shared a series of photos on Instagram from a recent getaway. In the images, she wore bikinis from Eres Paris and dresses from The Row, all captured by her mother.
“My mom took these photos of me while I was packing for a trip. And the last photo I’m on the trip. This year is about self-care and self-love,” Schumer wrote. She added that she was makeup-free in the pictures and chose not to use any filters.
Schumer also used the post to encourage her 12.6 million followers to focus on what matters most. “Let’s all appreciate our health, our families, our friends, and have the best year of our lives. Moving forward with no regrets. Just love,” she said, adding hashtags such as #perimenopause and #csection.
This comes after Schumer confirmed her split from chef Chris Fischer in December 2025. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she shared, “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son.” The couple shares a son, Gene, born in May 2019. Schumer added humor to her announcement, writing, “Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”
On New Year’s Eve, she posted a playful Instagram Story poking fun at her single status, crossing her eyes while holding spaghetti. “Who’s kissing this at midnight?” she captioned the image.
Earlier, Schumer opened up about her weight loss journey. On December 1, she revealed she had lost 50 pounds, explaining, “Not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary, but to survive.”
She referenced her Cushing syndrome diagnosis, a condition that causes high cortisol levels and can lead to facial puffiness, weight gain, and other health issues. “I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you, but the internet caught it, and the disease has cleared,” she wrote. She also confirmed using the weight-loss medication Mounjaro, adding, “Sorry for whatever feeling it’s giving you that I lost that weight.”
Schumer’s posts highlight her focus on health, family, and self-confidence after a challenging period. She seems determined to embrace this new chapter with humor, honesty, and style.
