Jennifer Garner, 53, Flaunts Her Ageless Frame in a Daringly Beaded LBD at the Globes
Jennifer Garner is proving that a 13-year hiatus from the Golden Globes only makes a comeback sweeter. On Sunday, Jan. 11, the 13 Going on 30 star arrived at the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards in a look that successfully walked the line between timeless elegance and daring, modern glamour.
Stepping onto the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton for the first time since 2013, the 53-year-old actress opted for a custom Cong Tri “naked” dress. The sleeveless black column gown was a feat of engineering, featuring tiered fringe and a staggering 330,000 crystal beads.
The garment reportedly took over 1,300 hours of manual labor to hand-embroider, creating a light-catching effect that shimmered with every movement. While the gown leaned into the “shimmering LBD” trend, its translucent properties between the crystal tiers added a sultry, avant-garde edge to Garner’s typically classic style.

To complement the high-shine gown, Garner switched up her signature beauty routine. She ditched her usual middle part for a deep, millennial-loved side part, styling her dark honey-colored locks in loose, voluminous curls that swept over one shoulder.
The actress accessorized with shimmering Boucheron diamonds, including drop earrings that echoed the movement of her gown’s beaded fringe. Her makeup featured luminous skin, a bronzy cheek, and a soft pink lip that let the dramatic dress do the talking.
During her red carpet walk, Garner appeared entirely at ease, pausing to pose for cameras with a glow that fans attributed to her dedicated health and fitness regimen. She later took the stage as a presenter, marking a full-circle moment for the star who last attended the ceremony in 2013.
While she took the night to celebrate high fashion, Garner’s 2026 professional slate is focused on high-stakes comedy and intense drama. She is set to begin filming the Netflix original movie One Attempt Remaining in February 2026.
Directed by Kay Cannon (Blockers), the film follows an acrimonious ex-couple who discovers the cryptocurrency they won years ago on a cruise is now worth millions. The catch? They have forgotten the password and have only three days to retrace their steps and recover the fortune.
In addition to her film work, Garner is returning to the small screen for the highly anticipated second season of The Last Thing He Told Me. The thriller series is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on February 20, 2026, and will follow Garner’s character, Hannah Hall, as she continues to search for the truth behind her husband’s disappearance.
