After a long four-year wait, Euphoria is finally returning for its third season. HBO confirmed that the new season will feature a five-year time jump. Fans will see Sydney Sweeney back as Cassie, who now works as an OnlyFans creator. The new trailer shows Cassie in a bunny outfit, highlighting her new online venture.

Jacob Elordi’s character, Nate, is still engaged to Cassie and isn’t thrilled about her new work. He says in the trailer, “I work all day, and my bride-to-be is spread-eagled on the internet.” Showrunner Sam Levinson has also confirmed that Nate and Cassie will get married in season three, teasing “an unforgettable night.”

Season 3 is expected to be the show’s conclusion. Over the years, Euphoria has turned its main cast into household names, and excitement for the finale is high.

Alongside Sweeney, the series brings back Zendaya as Rue, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Alexa Demie as Maddy, Maude Apatow as Lexi, Eric Dane as Cal, Colman Domingo as Ali, Chloe Cherry as Faye, and Martha Kelly as Laurie. Zendaya’s Rue is now living in Mexico and owes money to Laurie. Jules is pursuing art school, Maddy works at a talent agency, and Lexi is assisting a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.

Season 3 also introduces new faces. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays a powerful drug kingpin who becomes part of Rue’s new life in Mexico. Other additions include Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Marshawn Lynch, and Trisha Paytas. Some familiar characters will not return this season, including Barbie Ferreira’s Kat and Storm Reid’s Gia, Rue’s sister.

With such a star-studded cast and a major time jump, fans are eager to see how the series wraps up the lives of these complex characters.
