According to reports and recent photos taken in Los Angeles, the 45-year-old actor was seen heading to a business meeting in Bel-Air, California, on Friday, January 16. The outing showed him dressed in a clean and put-together look that fit the professional setting.

Charlie wore an olive-colored canvas jacket over a dark plaid button-down shirt. He paired the outfit with straight-leg blue jeans and brown leather boots.

He also carried a brown duffel bag with him as he walked. At one point, he paused to put on his sunglasses, which made sense given the bright and sunny Los Angeles weather.

This appearance comes during a busy time in his career. According to Netflix-related reports, Charlie was spotted filming Monster season 4 back in December.

The anthology series is expected to return later this year, and the new season will focus on the story of Lizzie Borden. In this upcoming installment, Charlie will portray Andrew Borden, the father of the titular character.

Earlier this month, Charlie also made headlines at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards. During an interview at the event, he referred to longtime partner Morgana McNelis as his wife, which quickly sparked marriage rumors.

So my wife and I went to bed early, got up, had a really beautiful hike and came in, set some intentions, he told reporters when describing his New Year’s Day. Neither Charlie nor Morgana has confirmed any wedding news so far.

His upcoming projects continue to stack up. According to industry announcements from Amazon Prime Video, Charlie was cast in May 2024 as Leo, described as a brilliant master thief, in the series adaptation of the comic Criminal by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.

The series is expected to feature an ensemble cast including Emilia Clarke, Luke Evans, and Richard Jenkins. Fans are eager to see him return to a gritty crime role similar to his iconic turn in Sons of Anarchy.

He also recently appeared in Monster: The Ed Gein Story, which aired in October 2025. In the third season of the Netflix crime drama anthology, Charlie portrayed convicted murderer and grave robber Ed Gein.

Reports confirm that he also worked behind the scenes as an executive producer for that season. His performance earned him a nomination for Best Actor in a Limited Series at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Charlie’s personal life has also drawn attention over the years. He previously married actress Katharine Towne in 1999 after meeting her at an audition for Dawson’s Creek.

The marriage lasted until 2002. He later dated several well-known figures, including Sophie Dahl and Stella Parker.

He has been in a relationship with artist Morgana McNelis since 2005, and his recent comments have only added to speculation about their current status. The couple is known for their private lifestyle, often spending time at their ranch in California.

Outside of his recent work in the Monster franchise, Charlie remains well-known for his seven-season run as Jax Teller on Sons of Anarchy. He has also starred in major films such as Pacific Rim, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and The Gentlemen.

As he prepares for the release of Criminal and the next chapter of the Ryan Murphy anthology, Charlie continues to be one of the most sought-after leading men in television. His transition into producing shows a growing interest in shaping the projects he stars in.

The actor’s upcoming role as Andrew Borden in the Lizzie Borden season of Monster will see him acting alongside Ella Beatty, who takes on the lead role. This marks a quick turnaround for the actor, who has become a staple of the Netflix anthology series.

What do you think about Charlie’s recent hint that he might have finally tied the knot with Morgana in the comments?
