Hollywood fans were treated to a heartwarming moment on Friday, February 6, when Rachel McAdams unexpectedly appeared during a press interview with Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry. The event, held in London, was part of the promotional tour for Hemsworth and Berry’s upcoming heist thriller, Crime 101.

During the interview, Hemsworth and Berry were joking about a playful “Thor vs. Storm” lightning battle when the door suddenly opened. McAdams walked in, catching both stars completely off guard. Cameras captured the trio sharing a warm hug, and Berry laughed, saying, “I didn’t think I’d see you here!” The moment was described by onlookers as spontaneous and full of genuine friendship.

McAdams, who is promoting her new horror-thriller Send Help, stayed for a few minutes to catch up before moving on to her next interview. The actress has had a strong start to 2026, with Send Help earning over $33 million in its first week at the box office. The film sees McAdams and Dylan O’Brien survive a plane crash only to face challenges on a dangerous island. Critics have praised her performance as “relatable and gritty,” marking her first major lead role in a horror-thriller since Red Eye.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth and Berry are gearing up for the February 13 release of Crime 101, directed by Bart Layton. Hemsworth stars as a skilled jewel thief, while Berry plays a determined insurance broker tracking him down. The movie also reunites Hemsworth with Mark Ruffalo, who plays the detective on the case.

Outside of Crime 101, Hemsworth has been making headlines for his role in the crime drama Kockroach, replacing Channing Tatum in the lead. He and his wife, Elsa Pataky, are also starring in a high-profile Super Bowl commercial for Amazon’s AI-powered Alexa+, airing this Sunday.

Berry is keeping busy as well. Her production company, HalleHolly, recently announced several projects, including a gender-swapped thriller titled The President Is Missing, where she plays President Joanna Duncan. She is also set to film the drama Fleur in Paris this March.
