Scarlett Johansson is expanding her beauty brand with a new seasonal release that is already drawing attention from fans and beauty editors. The actress and entrepreneur recently introduced three new shades of the popular Lip Oasis Glossy Treatment from her skincare line, The Outset.

The new colors arrive as part of a limited Resort Collection inspired by the relaxed feeling of a beach vacation. The launch includes two neutral tones and one soft pink shade designed for easy, everyday wear.

Johansson, who founded The Outset, said the new shades were created with a simple goal in mind. “These shades are easy, wearable and meant to make you feel a little more relaxed the moment you put them on, wherever you are,” she said.

One of the new shades, called Skinny Dip, introduces shimmer to the Lip Oasis line for the first time. The color is a warm nude tone and includes a light pineapple and yuzu flavor. Another shade, Daiquiri, offers a sheer pink color with a subtle dragonfruit taste. The third shade, Bonfire, is a deeper brown tone that carries hints of toasted marshmallow.

The formula is designed to do more than just add shine. The gloss includes ingredients often used in skincare, such as peptides, polyglycerides, and lactic acid. These help keep lips smooth and hydrated while also adding color.

Johansson has previously spoken about having very sensitive skin. Because of that, she said she wanted her brand to focus on gentle but effective products. That idea helped shape The Outset, which promotes clean formulas that aim to avoid irritation.

The brand has grown steadily since launching. Lip Oasis has become one of its most popular products and has sold out several times in the past, according to reports.

Customers can buy the new shades individually or as a bundle. The three glosses are also available in a limited-edition tote bag made from recyclable material. The bag includes an interior pocket meant for carrying the gloss.

Beauty editors are already giving positive feedback. Melissa Minton, Senior Editor at Page Six Style, said she likes the gloss because it works both as makeup and lip care. “When I’m wearing the Lip Oasis, I feel like I have ScarJo’s enviable big pout! It definitely gives an enhanced look, and I often reach for it as the only product I put on top of a lip liner for a super natural yet made-up look,” she said.

The new collection is arriving just as spring begins, a time when many beauty brands release lighter and brighter products. Given the past success of Lip Oasis, the latest shades may not stay on shelves for long.

Celebrity beauty brands often feel repetitive, but Johansson’s line seems to focus on simple products people can actually use every day. A gloss that works as both treatment and makeup is practical, and the beach-inspired shades make sense for the season.
