Emilia Clarke reminded fans of her red carpet prowess with a stunning throwback photo from the 2025 Global Gift Gala in London. The actress, 39, wowed in a sheer black Alexander McQueen gown that combined elegance with bold details. The gala, held at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, brought together high-profile guests for a night of fashion and charity.

Clarke’s dress featured a plunging tulle neckline, floral lace, and side cut-outs that gave the outfit a daring edge. The floor-length gown flowed into a ruffled hem with a tulle train, adding drama to every step. She completed the look with Chaumet jewelry, pearl drop earrings, and soft waves framing her face.

The gala supported multiple charitable causes, including SameYou, the brain injury recovery organization Clarke co-founded. She has been a passionate advocate for brain injury awareness ever since surviving two aneurysms early in her career.

“One in three people will suffer a brain injury in their lifetime, and we need to make sure the support is there,” Clarke said. “Being here tonight is about making sure those voices are heard and that nobody has to go through that recovery journey alone.”

While the throwback photos have been widely shared online, Clarke has kept busy in 2026. She stars in the Peacock spy thriller Ponies, which premiered in January. In the series, she plays Beatrice “Bea” Grant, a secretary at the American Embassy in 1977 Moscow who becomes a CIA operative after a personal loss.

Clarke also serves as an executive producer. “Ponies is such a thrilling ride because it’s about these women who were invisible in history finally taking control of their own narratives,” she said during a recent promotional event in New York.

Clarke also has several upcoming film projects, including McCarthy, where she portrays Jean Kerr, wife of Senator Joseph McCarthy, and An Ideal Wife, a biopic about Constance Lloyd, Oscar Wilde’s wife. Both roles are expected to showcase her dramatic range and skill in period storytelling.

Even as she balances a demanding career, Clarke continues her philanthropic work, proving her influence extends far beyond the screen. Her red carpet moments—and throwback images like this one—remain a major talking point among fans worldwide.

Emilia Clarke continues to prove she can mix daring fashion with meaningful advocacy, showing that glamour and purpose can coexist. What do you think of her Alexander McQueen gala look and her work on Ponies? Share your thoughts in the comments.
