Sydney Sweeney Shares Exciting BTS Shots From ‘The Housemaid’ Set
Sydney Sweeney recently gave fans an exclusive peek at life on the set of her latest thriller, The Housemaid. The film, which also stars Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar, follows Sweeney as Millie Calloway, a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Sklenar).
Sweeney shared a 20-slide Instagram carousel with her 25.7 million followers. The opening slide was striking, showing her taking a bite of a pickle covered in fake blood—a nod to the thriller’s dark tone. The rest of the slides gave a more personal view, capturing behind-the-scenes moments with her co-stars and author Freida McFadden.
In one image, Sweeney was seen hugging Seyfried and her young co-star, 11-year-old Indiana Elle. Another slide featured a note from McFadden praising Sweeney, which read, “You are a perfect Millie!” The film’s official Instagram account joined the celebration, commenting, “happy housemaid day ❤️.”
Fans have even more to look forward to. Lionsgate confirmed in January that a sequel is in the works. Sweeney will return, along with Morrone and director Feig, to bring The Housemaid’s Secret—the second book in McFadden’s series—to the screen.
