The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special brought waves of nostalgia to Los Angeles this week, and the purple carpet at the El Capitan Theatre was packed with energy and star power. Among the celebrities celebrating the milestone was JoJo Siwa, who fully embraced the playful, over-the-top style that made her a fan favorite.

Siwa wore a dazzling purple jersey adorned with the number 23 in sparkling silver and green. The top was decorated with rows of rhinestones along the collar and sleeves, giving the sporty piece a glamorous, stage-ready edge.

She paired it with a black mini skirt that kept the focus on the sparkling purple, while chunky white high-top sneakers with neon orange straps and laces added her signature bold twist. Her accessories included a pearl necklace layered with a silver chain, and her blonde hair was styled in detailed braids pulled back from her face.

The premiere celebrates the 20-year legacy of the Disney Channel series that launched Miley Cyrus into stardom. Siwa, who often cites her Disney roots as a major influence, appeared thrilled to honor the show’s impact.

Recently, the 22-year-old has been reshaping her public image, embracing her full name, Joelle, and continuing a busy career that includes a third-place finish on Celebrity Big Brother UK and a role in the horror film AMFAD All My Friends Are Dead. She also released a new single, I’m Still Dancin’, earlier this year, paying homage to her early career.

The special itself is a major Disney+ production, featuring an intimate interview between Miley Cyrus and podcaster Alex Cooper. Fans are treated to recreated sets, including the Stewart family kitchen and Hannah’s rotating closet, along with unseen footage from the original four-season run.

While Miley Cyrus remains the central focus, appearances from Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus are included, with rumored cameos from Emily Osment and Jason Earles. Cyrus shared her excitement on social media, saying the show will always be a part of who I am and I wanted to create a love letter to the fans.

For many, including Siwa, the event was a full-circle moment, honoring a show that shaped an entire generation. As the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary celebrations continue, the excitement around the franchise shows no signs of fading.
