Miley Cyrus Drops Jaws in Leather Look at the iHeartRadio Music Awards
Miley Cyrus had a big night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she was honored with the Innovator Award. The event took place on March 26, and her moment on stage quickly became one of the highlights of the night.
She also caught attention on the red carpet, wearing a bold leather ensemble that matched her edgy style. The outfit stood out and added to the strong image she brought to the event.
According to the awards show broadcast, the honor was presented by Lainey Wilson, who shared a personal connection to Cyrus. She revealed that she once worked as a Hannah Montana impersonator and called Cyrus one of her biggest inspirations.

“Miley Cyrus is what happens when fearlessness meets evolution,” Wilson said during the presentation. “She didn’t just grow up in front of the world. She redefined herself in front of it over and over – and then over again – from breaking out of a box that people tried to put her in.”

When Cyrus walked on stage, the crowd started chanting her name. Before starting her speech, she joked about the time limit set by host Ludacris.
“They’re gonna ‘Luda’ me,” she said. “Someone tell Luda this does not count as my 45 seconds.”
She also spoke about the anniversary of Hannah Montana, which is being celebrated this week. She said the moment felt special to her.
“Hannah Montana inspired me so much in my own career,” she said. “I fell in love with the idea that you can create a persona that gives you the confidence and the courage to perform authentically.”
Cyrus explained what the award means to her and how she looks at her work.
“I’ve always written songs and stories because I love it, and winning awards for that work is of course rewarding, but it is not my compass,” she said. “Because if it was I’m sure I’d end up very lost.”
She then spoke directly to her fans and said their support matters more than anything else.
“When the win isn’t recognition, but making art that reaches the hearts of people I may never meet, it brings me a kind of joy that is deeply meaningful,” she said. “Younger me is so honored to share this moment with you. I’m proud to stand here and tell you how much you mean to me.”
She ended her speech with a simple line that fans recognized right away: “This really is the life.”
