‘Wednesday’ Season 3 Drops First Official Image of Jenna Ortega
Netflix has shared the first image from Season 3 of Wednesday, giving fans an early look at what’s coming next. The photo was posted on social media and shows Jenna Ortega back as Wednesday Addams, this time standing in Paris with a motorcycle nearby. The Eiffel Tower can be seen in the background, along with Thing. The post included a short caption that reads, “From Paris, with dread.”
The update comes from Netflix as the show continues to grow in popularity. Even before Season 2 arrived in September 2025, the platform had already confirmed that a third season was on the way. The series was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and it remains one of the platform’s biggest titles.
Most of the main cast is returning for the new season. Alongside Jenna Ortega, viewers can expect to see familiar faces like Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Isaac Ordonez, Luis Guzmán, Christina Ricci, Gwendoline Christie, Fred Armisen, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

There will also be several new additions to the cast. Some of them have worked with Tim Burton before, including Eva Green, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, and Winona Ryder. Other new cast members include Lena Headey, James Lance, Oscar Morgan, Kennedy, Kennedy Moyer, and Andrew McCarthy.
Speaking to Netflix’s Tudum, Gough shared the team’s plans for the next season. “Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,” he said. “We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday.” Millar also teased more story details, saying, “We will be seeing more Addams family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!”
Tim Burton also spoke about returning to the series and working with the cast again. “I’m so excited to be back for Season 3, and it’s great to be reunited with all of the original cast,” he said. “The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine — Winona, Eva, Chris, Noah … makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky.”
Netflix has not confirmed a release date yet for Season 3. For now, fans can watch the first two seasons, which are already available on the platform.
The Paris setting is a smart change. It gives the show a fresh look while keeping the same dark tone. The returning cast is strong, and the new additions could make the story more interesting. The big question is whether Season 3 can keep the same energy as before or do something better. What do you think about this first look? Are you excited for the new season?
