The first trailer for “Jackass: Best And Last” has arrived, giving fans a final look at the long-running stunt comedy series. The film is set to be the fifth and last movie in the franchise and is planned for release on June 26, according to information shared with the trailer launch.

The “Jackass” project started as an MTV series in the early 2000s. It was created by Johnny Knoxville along with Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze. The show ran from 2000 to 2001 and focused on a group of friends who performed dangerous and often very silly stunts. Over time, it became a global hit and built a strong fan base.

The original group included Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Bam Margera, and Ryan Dunn, who later passed away. Their style was simple and raw, and it often pushed the limits of what could be shown on TV and in movies.

Over the years, the series moved into cinemas. The first movie came out in 2002 under the title “Jackass: The Movie” and made more than 79 million dollars worldwide. It was followed by “Jackass Number Two” in 2006, “Jackass 3D” in 2010, and “Jackass Forever” in 2022. That last film also brought in new stunt performers and earned over 80 million dollars globally.

The new and final film will bring back several familiar faces. Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), and Preston Lacy are all returning. Other cast members joining the final ride include Ehren McGhehey, Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Zach Holmes, Jasper, Compston “Dark Shark” Wilson, and Rachel Wolfson.

Over time, the franchise also expanded into spin-offs, including “Bad Grandpa,” helping push total earnings for the series past 500 million dollars worldwide, based on reports shared alongside the trailer release.

The new trailer shows that the team is coming together one last time for more risky and over-the-top stunts, closing out a franchise that has lasted for more than two decades.

It is a big moment for fans of this series. “Jackass” has always been about extreme humor and fearless stunts, and ending it after so many years feels like the end of an era. At the same time, it will be interesting to see if the final film really feels like a proper goodbye. What do you think about “Jackass” ending here? Did you enjoy the franchise, and will you watch the final movie? Share your thoughts in the comments.
