Netflix Drops This Week — New Must-Watch Shows and Movies You Can’t Miss
This week’s lineup on Netflix brings a mix of true crime, returning dramas, and live comedy that’s set to keep viewers busy from May 4 to May 10.
One of the biggest highlights is the return of the true crime docuseries Worst Ex Ever. Season 2 dives into more real-life stories where relationships take a dark and violent turn. The series uses interviews, bodycam footage, and reenactments to tell each case. This new season teases stories involving convicted criminals Wade Wilson and Geoffrey Paschel, known from 90 Day Fiancé.
Also arriving is The Chestnut Man, returning for Season 2 titled Hide and Seek. Based on the novels by Søren Sveistrup, the story follows detectives Naia Thulin and Mark Hess as they revisit a disturbing murder case involving a chestnut figurine. The new season picks up five years after the first, with Danica Curcic, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, and David Dencik returning in key roles.
Rounding out the week is a live comedy event featuring Kevin Hart, with Shane Gillis hosting. It marks Netflix’s second live roast, adding a different kind of energy to the week’s releases.
