A new trailer has been released for A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 2. The series stars Emma Myers as Pip Fitz-Amobi, a teenage girl who has already solved one major case and is now pulled into another mystery.

The new season is based on the second book in the series by Holly Jackson, titled “Good Girl, Bad Blood.” It will arrive on Netflix on May 27 and will include six episodes, each around 45 minutes long.

In the new story, Pip is trying to leave her detective work behind after the events of season 1. She had already solved the case of Andie Bell and Sal Singh, and she wants to move on with her life. However, things change when a new disappearance pulls her back in.

In the trailer, Pip is heard saying, “I’m ready for this to be over. No more murder.” She says this while trying to step away from investigations, but the situation quickly changes when another case appears in her town.

Her friend Ravi Singh, played by Zain Iqbal, reappears in her life, but things get serious when Connor Reynolds tells Pip that his brother Jamie has gone missing. This sets up the main mystery of the new season.

Pip later explains the situation in her own words, saying, “Jamie’s giving evidence in Max’s trial, and then he goes missing two days before the trial starts. Well, this has to be connected somehow.” The trailer suggests she believes the disappearance is not random and is linked to the ongoing court case.

The character of Max Hastings, played by Henry Ashton, is also part of the story. He is shown during his trial, where he faces serious accusations. At one point, he tells Pip, “It’s your word against mine.”

As the investigation grows, Pip finds herself under pressure. She receives a warning message that says, “Who will look for you when you disappear?” which makes the case feel even more dangerous.

Other returning cast members include Asha Banks, along with several supporting characters who continue to build the story around Pip’s investigations.

The trailer ends with tense moments, including a fast-moving car chase and Pip struggling with the stress of the case. It shows that season 2 will be more intense, with higher stakes and a more personal impact on the main character as she tries to solve another disappearance.
