Robert Pattinson has shared a funny behind-the-scenes story from the set of The Batman, revealing that he was caught repeatedly taking socks from the production.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1 film critic Ali Plumb, Pattinson said that it is normally very hard to take anything from a major film set. However, he admitted that he still managed to collect a large number of socks during filming.

He explained that the issue was not a one-time thing. According to him, he kept taking socks throughout the shoot. He said the studio eventually noticed the pattern and stepped in to stop it. Pattinson recalled that he was told it was fine to take a few items, but not to keep doing it every day.

The actor joked that most of his personal socks now actually come from the Batman production. The film, directed by Matt Reeves, was a major reboot of the DC character and marked Pattinson’s first time playing Bruce Wayne.

Even though he was talking about something light-hearted, Pattinson also touched on how strict film sets are when it comes to props and costumes. Large productions usually control every item carefully, making it difficult for actors to keep anything without permission.

He also mentioned in other interviews that wearing the full Batman suit had a strong effect on people on set. According to him, crew members often reacted differently when he was in costume, sometimes acting more cautious or serious around him. He said simply standing in the suit without speaking could change the atmosphere on set.

There have also been talks about a possible sequel to The Batman, though no official production details have been confirmed yet. If that happens, Pattinson joked that he will probably not be allowed to take anything more important than socks.

This is a harmless and funny story that shows how strict big movie sets can be, even about small things like socks. It also gives a more human side to huge superhero productions. What do you think about actors taking souvenirs from movie sets? Share your thoughts in the comments.
