A New Prime Video Hit Is Already Surpassing ‘The Boys’ When It Comes To Streaming Numbers

Prime Video has another major hit on its hands in 2026, and it is already pulling attention away from some of the platform’s biggest established shows.

According to FlixPatrol and rankings shared across multiple regions, the new series Off Campus has quickly become one of the most-watched titles on the service just days after its release.

The show premiered on May 13 and is based on Elle Kennedy’s popular book series. In a short time, it has managed to overtake The Boys in global viewing interest, despite that series still nearing the end of its current run on Prime Video.

Based on platform rankings, Off Campus reached the number one spot in several countries, including Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Norway, Ireland, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Argentina. It also placed strongly in other major markets, ranking number two in countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. In additional regions like Colombia, Malaysia, and Turkey, the show sits at number three.

The series has also seen strong early audience and critical response. It currently holds a 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, along with an 85 percent audience score on the Popcornmeter, showing a positive reception from both critics and viewers.

The story centers on Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, played by Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. The cast also includes Stephen Thomas Kalyn, Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Josh Heuston, and Steve Howey. The show is created by Louisa Levy, who serves as showrunner alongside Gina Fattore.

Despite being a new release, Off Campus has already been renewed for a second season. Prime Video confirmed the renewal on February 12, 2026, showing confidence in the series’ long-term potential. However, no release date or production timeline for season 2 has been announced yet.

For now, Off Campus season 1 is available to stream on Prime Video, and further updates on the next chapter are expected later in the year as the show continues its strong performance worldwide.
