Collider has reportedly “privated” an interview with Eric Kripke, and this has sparked a lot of discussion online about possible spoilers for The Boys finale. The information comes from Collider’s interview coverage and fan reactions that spread across social media after parts of the conversation were noticed before the video was taken down.

The focus of the controversy is Homelander’s fate in the upcoming final episodes of The Boys Season 5. According to the original report, Eric Kripke appeared to make comments that strongly hinted at what happens to Homelander by the end of the story. Fans believe he may have gone too far in revealing key details during the interview, even if it was not intentional.

The situation became more confusing because it is not clear if the full interview was meant to be published or if certain parts were supposed to be cut out. After the video was made private and all links to the interview started leading to 404, fans started discussing whether a spoiler slipped out or if it was simply a mistake in editing or release timing.

Why Did Homelander Choke Soldier Boy in ‘The Boys’ Season 5, and Is He Actually Dead?

The Boys is now in its final stretch on Amazon Prime Video, with the series wrapping up its story in a final entry titled Blood and Bone, which is set to release on May 20. The show has been building toward the end of Homelander’s story for a long time, and fans are expecting a major conclusion.

In the interview discussion, Kripke also spoke about the relationship between Homelander and Soldier Boy. Their father and son connection has been a major part of the story in recent seasons, and it has created a lot of tension leading into the finale.

One of the most talked about claims from the report is that Kripke suggested Soldier Boy will not appear in the final episode. This has added more fuel to fan theories, especially since many viewers believed Soldier Boy could play a role in the final fight.

Kripke also reportedly addressed the connection between The Boys and its spin-off Gen V. He talked about how ideas from the main series connect to the wider universe. During this part of the discussion, he made a comment that fans believe may hint at Homelander’s end.

The reported quote from Kripke says:

“Our notion was their (Gen V characters) story wasn’t just over just because Homelander is dead. There was a whole other interesting space they occupy as young adults in this world.”

This line is what led many fans to think Homelander’s fate may already be sealed in the story. However, there is also debate online, with some viewers saying it could be misleading or taken out of context.

The original report also mentions that Kripke confirmed Soldier Boy will not appear in the finale. Another quote shared from his Collider interview says:

“Knowing that that (the Impala reference) was going to be Jensen’s last scene in the series, we wanted to put in one last reference.”

This suggests that Jensen Ackles’ character arc may already be finished in the show.

At the same time, earlier episodes of The Boys Season 5 have already pushed Homelander into a much darker position. He is shown taking control of political and world systems, and the story is moving toward a final confrontation between him and the main group.

Even with all these comments, nothing has been officially confirmed about Homelander’s final fate. The discussion mostly comes from Collider’s interview, which is now private, and from fan interpretation of Kripke’s statements.

With the final episode coming on May 20 on Amazon Prime Video, viewers will soon find out what is real and what is just speculation.
