Disneyland guests got a surprise visit from Pedro Pascal, who appeared in full costume as The Mandalorian during a special park event.

The moment happened inside the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride at Disneyland Resort, located in the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area. Guests had no idea that Pascal was inside the attraction, dressed as the Mandalorian, before he revealed himself in front of them. The surprise was filmed and later shared by Disney.

The appearance was part of a promotion for the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu. The movie continues the story from the Disney+ series and brings the characters Din Djarin and Grogu to the big screen. It is expected to release in theaters very soon.

Pascal was not the only star involved in the Disney event. Actress Sigourney Weaver also appeared at the park alongside director Jon Favreau and writer Dave Filoni. They were seen watching a nighttime show at Disneyland as part of the celebration for the new film.

The Smugglers Run attraction will also be updated to include new story elements tied to the movie. According to Disney, the ride will feature new gameplay moments, new interactions, and surprises connected to Din Djarin and Grogu. One new feature will even let riders check in on Grogu during the mission and influence parts of the experience.

The new film follows the events of the original series and shows Din Djarin being recruited by the New Republic for a new mission involving Rotta the Hutt, the son of Jabba the Hutt. The character is played by Jeremy Allen White. The film also includes a voice role from director Martin Scorsese, who appears as a shop owner.
