Zendaya has spoken about what it was like working on multiple major productions at the same time, including HBO’s Euphoria, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three.

In an interview with Elle, she described a period of intense work where she was constantly switching between different roles and sets.

The actress said she was often exhausted while trying to keep up with the demands of each project. She explained that she would move between night shoots for Euphoria and preparation for her film roles almost at the same time.

“I remember being on set for Euphoria; it was a night shoot at a ranch,” she said. “I was so tired, but I was also learning my Chakobsa lines for Dune. And then I started writing out my lines to memorize for that quick turnaround trip I was going to make to Iceland [for The Odyssey].”

Zendaya also shared that even though her part in The Odyssey was not very large, the pressure still felt significant because of the scale of the production and the involvement of director Christopher Nolan.

“It’s not like I have a lot of lines in The Odyssey, but I was working with Christopher Nolan! The most embarrassing thing in life would be messing up my lines, which did happen once,” she added.

Her schedule included filming the third season of Euphoria, where she returns as Rue Bennett, along with major film roles in some of the biggest upcoming releases in Hollywood. She is set to appear as Athena in The Odyssey, which is directed by Nolan and based on the ancient Greek epic. The film also includes a large ensemble cast featuring actors such as Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway.

Zendaya will also return as Chani in Dune: Part Three, the final chapter in Denis Villeneuve’s science fiction trilogy. The film continues the story following Dune: Part Two and is based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah. Production wrapped after filming across multiple international locations, with a release planned for late 2026.

Alongside her film projects, Zendaya continues to work on television with Euphoria, which remains one of HBO’s most popular series. The combination of television and multiple blockbuster films meant she was constantly moving between different characters, locations, and production schedules.

In earlier comments made during promotional appearances, Zendaya admitted she plans to take a break after this busy stretch of work. She has described the year as overwhelming and said she expects to step away from acting for a short time once her current projects are released.

Her recent workload highlights how demanding her schedule has become as she balances long-running TV commitments with major Hollywood franchises.
