New ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 Set Photos Reveal Epic Reunion With a Potentially Heartbreaking Twist

New set photos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 are giving fans a big moment, but also raising serious questions about where the story is headed.

The images, which come from on-set photography shared online during production, show Luke Cage, Danielle, and Danny Rand together in what looks like a key location from the upcoming season.

The trio’s reunion is already being called one of the most exciting crossover moments in the series so far, especially for fans of the wider Marvel Netflix universe.

But the excitement quickly turned into concern after another set of photos surfaced just hours earlier. Those earlier images showed Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye in what appears to be the same location where Cage, Danielle, and Rand were later seen filming. This overlap has led fans to believe that Bullseye could be targeting them in a future scene, with some even speculating that the encounter could end in tragedy for one or more characters.

The information comes from circulating production set photos taken during ongoing filming for Season 3. While Marvel Studios has not confirmed any plot details, the timing and shared setting in the images have fueled online theories about a possible violent confrontation.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 continues the story of Matt Murdock, who is currently imprisoned after revealing his identity as Daredevil at the end of Season 2. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk has lost his position as mayor of New York and is now in exile, reshaping the power balance that has defined the series so far.

The show is a continuation of the original Daredevil series from Netflix, now fully integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is produced by Marvel Studios under the Marvel Television banner, with Dario Scardapane serving as showrunner.

The cast brings together a mix of returning MCU and Netflix-era characters. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, with Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Wilson Bethel is back as Bullseye, continuing his arc as a dangerous and unpredictable assassin. Deborah Ann Woll also returns as Karen Page, alongside Margarita Levieva, Arty Froushan, and Zabryna Guevara.

One of the biggest talking points for Season 3 is the return of key Defenders characters. Krysten Ritter is back as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter returns as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones reprises his role as Danny Rand. Their reappearance has already created major fan excitement, especially as Season 3 moves toward a more connected street-level MCU storyline.

Additional returning characters include Danielle, the daughter of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, who also appears in the newly leaked set photos.

Production for Season 3 began in March, with filming taking place across New York City locations including Brooklyn and Queens. According to production updates, filming is expected to wrap in early July, with the season scheduled for release on Disney+ in March 2027.

While Marvel has not confirmed any conflict between Bullseye and the reunited heroes, the latest set photos suggest that Season 3 may not be as safe or celebratory as fans had hoped.
