Tom Hardy has made his first public appearance since reports claimed he was fired from the Paramount+ series “MobLand.”

Hardy was seen attending a star-studded “Masters of the Universe” after-party on Wednesday night. According to Page Six, he arrived later in the evening and avoided walking the red carpet. The photos show him dressed in a patterned short-sleeve shirt, white trousers, and sneakers as he kept a low profile during the event.

This outing comes just days after media reports suggested Hardy had been removed from “MobLand” following alleged issues on set. The actor played Harry Da Souza in the series, which has been one of Paramount+’s major crime dramas.

The reports first circulated through entertainment outlets including Variety and Puck News. Some of those reports claimed Hardy’s alleged behavior included being late to set, changing dialogue, and clashing with members of the production team. These claims also suggested tension with executive producer Jez Butterworth and production company 101 Studios.

One source quoted by Puck News described alleged production problems involving scheduling and script changes. The report also suggested that delays on set created frustration among cast and crew.

Additional reporting claimed that some crew members and production insiders believed the situation became serious enough to impact behind-the-scenes decision making. However, these claims remain unverified and represent internal sources speaking to media outlets.

There were also reports of tension involving Hardy and parts of the ensemble cast. Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan both star in “MobLand,” and some sources claimed that scheduling delays affected other actors during filming.

One insider told the Daily Mail, “She is getting increasingly frustrated with Tom and his attitude.” The same source also claimed that Hardy’s behavior on set included long delays and disagreements over tone and preparation.

Another report described Hardy as highly intense during production, with one insider saying he “swaggers around like a king” and can appear “very, very arrogant.” These comments came from unnamed sources and have not been independently confirmed by the production team.

Despite all of the reports, there has been no official confirmation that Hardy was fired from the series. In fact, some entertainment outlets have reported that he is still in talks for future involvement, depending on how the show continues.

A separate report from Variety stated that Hardy has not been formally removed from “MobLand,” and that discussions about his future role are still ongoing. This means the situation remains unclear and not officially resolved.

In the middle of the speculation, Helen Mirren has publicly shown support for Hardy. She posted a photo of him on social media with the message, “Love you now and always.” The post was widely seen as a show of solidarity, even as rumors about on-set tensions continued to circulate.

Mirren’s message stood in contrast to the negative reports and suggested that, at least on a personal level, there is no confirmed breakdown between the actors.

“MobLand,” which also stars Pierce Brosnan and is produced by 101 Studios and MTV Entertainment Studios, became a major hit after its first season. The series is created by Ronan Bennett and Jez Butterworth, with Guy Ritchie also involved as an executive producer and director.

Season 2 has already been filmed, while the future of Season 3 and Hardy’s continued role remains uncertain. Production discussions are still ongoing, and no final decisions have been announced.

For now, Hardy’s public appearance in London shows him returning to normal life as industry reports continue to circulate around his status on the show. The situation remains open, with conflicting accounts coming from different sources in the entertainment press.
