The social media update quickly caught the attention of fans after being reshared online. In the first photo of the collage, Moriarty poses solo in what appears to be a bathroom mirror, wearing a sleek black halter dress paired with a simple gold pendant necklace. The second image shows her alongside two friends, with Moriarty switching up her look into a casual white tank top, dark pants, and small rectangular glasses while making a playful expression for the camera.

Fans have been eager to see updates from the actress following a massive year in her professional career. Moriarty recently wrapped up her defining television role as Annie January, also known as the superhero Starlight, on Amazon Prime Video’s smash hit series The Boys. The acclaimed satirical superhero drama aired its fifth and final season from April to May 2026, officially bringing the main storyline of the vigilantes and the corrupt Vought International empire to a close.

Before the main show concluded, Moriarty also reprised her famous superhero role for guest appearances in the spin-off series Gen V. Beyond the superhero genre, the actress has a background in major television projects, including roles in Netflix’s Jessica Jones and the first season of HBO’s True Detective. On the film side, she has previously appeared in projects like Captain Fantastic and Blood Father.

Looking ahead, Moriarty has been expanding her horizons with a mix of upcoming cinematic projects. She is slated to star in the supernatural horror film True Haunting, which has been in post-production, where she plays the lead role of Marsha Becker alongside co-star Jamie Campbell Bower.

Additionally, after spending years dealing with the hyper-violence of The Boys, she has publicly expressed that her post-superhero dream role would be securing a spot on a future season of HBO’s hit anthology series The White Lotus.
