Fast food chains partnering with anime franchises has become an increasingly common way to capture fan attention, and Burger King’s Russian branch has proven particularly willing to lean into these crossovers. The chain has a track record of building entire limited-time menus around beloved franchises, turning ordinary meal combos into collector’s items for devoted fans.

That pattern first played out with ‘Attack on Titan‘ back in September 2025, when Burger King Russia launched a themed box featuring a Titanic Whopper, fries, a drink, and one of eight randomly selected acrylic character figures. The promotion also included collectible glasses and a sweepstakes offering fans a chance to win additional merchandise along with a trip to Japan.

Now leaked promotional material suggests the partnership is returning for a second round. According to reports, Burger King Russia is preparing to relaunch its ‘Attack on Titan’ collaboration on September 16, this time centered around a brand-new item called the Founding Titan Whopper.

The centerpiece burger reportedly swaps out Burger King’s standard bun for a black version, paired with red-colored cheese designed to echo the anime’s darker visual palette. The rest of the menu leans just as heavily into the source material, with a “Titan Injection” sauce referencing the serum used to transform Eldians into Pure Titans, alongside a separate “Rumbling” seasoning made with sriracha, nodding to the devastating Wall Titan march from the series’ climactic arc.

Beyond the food itself, the collaboration is expected to bring back the collectible figure format that made the first campaign such a hit among fans. This time around, the leaked lineup reportedly includes eight figures: Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Levi Ackerman, Gabi Braun, and four of the series’ Titan forms, the Beast Titan, Armored Titan, Colossal Titan, and Jaw Titan.

That roster marks a notable shift from the original 2025 campaign, which instead featured Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Sasha, the Armored Titan, the Colossal Titan, and Eren’s own Attack Titan transformation. Swapping in Gabi Braun alongside a broader spread of Titan Shifter forms suggests the new promotion is drawing from later, more complex stretches of the story rather than sticking solely to the series’ earliest arcs.

‘Attack on Titan’ follows Eren Yeager and the Survey Corps as they battle the Titans threatening humanity from behind the safety of humanity’s massive walls, before the story expands dramatically into a much larger geopolitical conflict involving the Eldians, the nation of Marley, and the true origins of the Titans’ powers. That narrative scope has made the franchise a natural fit for elaborate promotional tie-ins, given how visually distinct many of its characters and Titan designs are.

With the reported launch date fast approaching, fans have already begun circulating the leaked promotional images online, generating renewed buzz ahead of any official confirmation from Burger King itself. If the details hold up, this second collaboration looks set to expand meaningfully on the first, offering a genuinely different character lineup alongside a menu built specifically around some of the series’ most memorable and unsettling imagery.

For fans hoping to get their hands on the new figures or try the Founding Titan Whopper, the promotion currently appears limited to Burger King locations in Russia, following the same regional exclusivity as the original 2025 rollout. That regional limitation has historically driven a secondary market for imported or resold merchandise among international fans eager to get their hands on the collectibles regardless of location.

Given how much attention the first collaboration generated online despite its limited geographic reach, it wouldn’t be surprising to see similar buzz surround this second round once official confirmation arrives. Anime and fast food crossovers have consistently proven to be reliable attention-grabbers, and a franchise as visually striking as ‘Attack on Titan’ seems especially well suited to that kind of themed promotional treatment.
