‘Man of Tomorrow’ Star Adria Arjona Brought Old Hollywood Elegance to Vogue World’s Milan Runway

Milan Fashion Week has a habit of turning even its biggest stars into runway models for a single unforgettable night, and this year’s Vogue World event leaned fully into that tradition. Held inside one of Italy’s most storied architectural landmarks, the evening blended high fashion with genuine spectacle, pulling actors and musicians alike out of the audience and onto the runway itself.

Among those who took that walk was Adria Arjona, captured mid-stride in a sleek charcoal coat dress as she moved through the historic arcade for Vogue Mexico’s coverage of the event. The actress has spent the past year steadily building one of the more ambitious slates in Hollywood, making her appearance at fashion’s biggest global showcase feel like a natural extension of a genuinely momentous stretch in her career.

Vogue World: Milano took place on September 22 inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the nineteenth-century shopping arcade situated between Piazza del Duomo and La Scala. The fifth edition of the traveling fashion spectacle brought together actors, musicians, and models from across the industry to celebrate Italian craftsmanship, with Arjona joining a lineup that included names like Jennifer Lopez, Dakota Johnson, Naomi Campbell, and Cardi B.

Arjona’s runway moment comes as she gears up for what may be the biggest role of her career yet. She’s set to join James Gunn’s DC Universe in ‘Superman: Man of Tomorrow,’ the sequel to last year’s ‘Superman’ reboot, reuniting her with Gunn and producer Peter Safran, the same duo who gave her an early break in 2016’s ‘The Belko Experiment.’ While her specific role hasn’t been officially confirmed, reports have widely speculated she’ll play Maxima, the cosmic alien queen from the comics.

Whatever the role turns out to be, Arjona has made clear the preparation has been intense. “I have muscles that I’ve never had in my life. I’m training two to three hours a day on a crazy diet,” she said in comments given to Screen Rant, adding that she was thrilled to be back working with the team that first gave her a foothold in the industry. ‘Man of Tomorrow’ is scheduled to hit theaters on July 9, 2027.

Superman isn’t the only major project on Arjona’s plate. She’s also set to star opposite Michael B. Jordan in his directorial reimagining of ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ for Amazon MGM Studios, stepping into a role originally intended for Taylor Russell before the actress exited amid creative differences. That film, based on Norman Jewison’s 1968 original, is scheduled for release on March 5, 2027, with a cast that also includes Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, and Danai Gurira.

Beyond those two major releases, Arjona recently starred in A24’s horror thriller ‘Onslaught’ from director Adam Wingard, and she has another project, the erotic thriller ‘Scorn,’ currently in the works alongside Kingsley Ben-Adir. That range, spanning genre horror, prestige remakes, and now a major superhero franchise, builds on a filmography that already includes standout turns in ‘Andor,’ ‘Hit Man,’ and ‘Blink Twice.’

Between a demanding physical transformation for ‘Man of Tomorrow’ and a headline-worthy pairing with Michael B. Jordan on ‘The Thomas Crown Affair,’ Arjona’s Vogue World appearance arrives at what may be the most pivotal moment of her career so far.
