‘Office Romance’ Star Jennifer Lopez Goes Head-to-Toe Leopard in Milan and Proves Animal Print Is a Neutral

Jennifer Lopez treats fashion week like a costume party where every guest is required to make an entrance. She arrived in Milan just ahead of the Spring/Summer 2027 shows, and her wardrobe has been the kind of parade that makes street-style photographers earn their keep. So far, the trip has included a daring office look, a ball gown and plenty of Dolce & Gabbana.

Her first sighting came on Monday, September 21, when she was photographed in an open white button-down that showed a black bra, paired with high-waisted wide-leg trousers, platform heels and a structured Dolce & Gabbana handbag. The look put a lingerie spin on classic black-and-white dressing. Then she got started.

On the first official day of fashion week she wore a cropped cream lace bustier with oversize distressed jeans and a dramatic Dolce & Gabbana opera coat with burgundy fur trim, floral print and pink fringe. That night she stole Vogue World: Milano at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in a strapless black ballgown with leather floral appliqués, a corset bodice and a hoop skirt with tulle, worn with opera gloves.

Then came the look now making the rounds. On September 23, Lopez stepped out in head-to-toe leopard print from Dolce & Gabbana, and she also posted the photos on Instagram with a single leopard emoji as the caption. It is her boldest statement of the week so far.

The centerpiece was a cropped, belted double-breasted trench with a wide collar that she popped for a face-framing silhouette. It was cinched at the waist and cut so short that, with matching mini bottoms, it read almost like a minidress. Fuzzy pointed leopard slingbacks, a mini black patent leather Dolce & Gabbana bag, slanted black sunglasses and gold rings finished the outfit.

Her hair was slicked back into a neat bun, keeping attention on the print. Her longtime stylists Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi are credited with the look, and photos even show her posing on a leopard-print daybed. Fans in the comments called her a leopard queen.

The look isn’t a surprise. W Magazine noted that Lopez has spent years trying to prove that leopard print is a neutral, and Milan is the perfect place to make the case. Her past leopard wardrobe includes patterned tights, shoulder-padded bodycon dresses, speckled fur coats and even face masks during the pandemic.

Dolce & Gabbana has been the through-line of the trip. Lopez reunited with the label in July for its Alta Moda celebrations in Sicily, where she reportedly told Vogue that its clothes let her step into a different character. Her Milan looks suggest that philosophy is still guiding her choices.

Fashion week runs from September 22 to 28, with Moschino’s new creative directors debuting on September 25, Demna’s Gucci show the same day, and a packed Saturday schedule that includes Dolce & Gabbana itself. Lopez still has plenty of chances to change again. If the week so far is any guide, another surprise is likely.
