WIF chief executive officer Kirsten Schaffer explained the reasoning behind the pick in a statement, pointing to Arjona’s expanding creative footprint across the industry. “With her groundbreaking performance in ‘Andor’ that had us all in awe of her raw talent, to her highly anticipated appearance in ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’ and now serving as an executive producer for projects such as ‘Los Frikis,’ ‘Splitsville’ and ‘Onslaught,’ Adria is taking full creative control of her career and bringing other women along with her,” Schaffer said, according to WWD.
The honor formally connects Arjona to Max Mara’s spring 2027 show in Milan, but her presence throughout the city’s fashion week stretched well beyond that single appearance. She was also spotted at Vogue World 2026, held in the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where she walked wearing a belted gray Max Mara coat paired with black T-bar heels, sharing the event lineup alongside major names like Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid, and Cardi B.
