Butters has long been the show’s soft-hearted punching bag, but recent seasons have given him sharper edges. That history makes his new stance on data centers feel like a natural next step rather than a sudden turn.
It also marks a major moment for him this season. The first-look trailer sets up Butters going up against billionaires and data centers in his first big story of the year.
