‘Caught Stealing’ Star Zoë Kravitz Keeps Her Saint Laurent Streak Alive in Sheer Black Lace at Paris Fashion Week

Few celebrities are as closely tied to a fashion house as Zoë Kravitz is to Saint Laurent. As a global ambassador, she has been one of the French label’s most famous faces for nearly a decade, and she has built her own style vocabulary around its dark, sensual aesthetic.

That vocabulary includes slightly transparent black lace. She wore it in a nearly naked look at the 2026 Met Gala and again at the after-party, and she has worn sheer pieces at Saint Laurent shows for years. In spring 2024, for example, she wore a long-sleeved mini dress of completely transparent black lace.

So it was no surprise when Kravitz returned to the Saint Laurent front row on Tuesday. On September 29, she attended the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris, and the photos of her latest Zoë Kravitz Saint Laurent look are already making the rounds online.

Kravitz wore a sheer black lace set consisting of a cropped, long-sleeved jacket and a knee-length pencil skirt, both worked in dense floral lace with scalloped edges. The transparency left her skin visible between the raised motifs.

The jacket was tied at the neck with a black satin bow, which became the clearest focal point of the outfit. She wore her dark hair undone in loose curls, pulled partly up, with a slim bracelet as her only accessory.

She finished the look with Saint Laurent’s Jeanne slingback pumps in black glazed leather. The design features a low-cut square vamp, an elongated pointed toe capped in metal and the Cassandre monogram set into the front.

WWF’s Footwear News noted that Kravitz and Zoe Saldaña both reached back to Saint Laurent’s fall 2026 lace for the show, but chose very different heels. Saldaña paired her sheer look with barely-there Cleo mules, while Kravitz went sharp with the glossy slingbacks.

The outfit drew immediate comparisons to her 2026 Met Gala gown. Fashion outlets said it resembled the Saint Laurent creation she wore to the event, treating it as a fresh variation on an established house-and-celebrity pairing.

Kravitz joined Hailey Bieber, Kate Moss and other stars in Saint Laurent’s front row at the evening show, held at the Fontaine du Trocadéro. Arrivals leaned heavily on the label’s sleek, dark signature, with black tailoring, lace and sheer panels appearing throughout the crowd.

Her relationship with the brand is well documented. In March 2025, she wore a lavender slip dress with champagne lace details and a plush golden fur coat to the house’s fall show, sitting alongside Bieber.

In March 2026, she attended the fall 2026 show in a chocolate-brown turtleneck with a subtle sheer quality and oversized pleated trousers, marking her first fashion show appearance since September 2025. That look was a departure from the delicate slip dresses and barely-there silhouettes she had favored before.

She also wore custom Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello to the London premiere of ‘Caught Stealing’, in a satin halter gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.

Kravitz has built a varied career on screen and behind the camera. She played Selina Kyle in ‘The Batman’, and listings show her returning for ‘The Batman: Part II’ in 2027.

She also made her directorial debut with ‘Blink Twice’ in 2024, which she co-wrote and produced, and starred opposite Austin Butler in Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Caught Stealing’. Her earlier credits include ‘High Fidelity’, ‘Big Little Lies’, ‘Kimi’ and ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’.

Fashion writers pointed out that the transparency is integral to the matching-set construction rather than a separate styling device. The look places traditional suit proportions inside a much more exposed lace construction.

The undone curls sit naturally beside the elaborate floral lace, and the black bow gives the ensemble a playful edge. It is a formula that has served her well for years.
