‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee and Taylor Russell Wander an Art Museum in Dior’s New Cruise Campaign
Few fashion houses court Hollywood as openly as Dior, and few creative directors lean into the connection as enthusiastically as Jonathan Anderson. Since arriving at the French house, he has built a roster of ambassadors from the worlds of film and music, then put them at the center of runway shows, campaigns and front rows.
That strategy was on full display in Los Angeles in May, when Dior staged its cruise show at the recently renovated Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The runway was treated as a cinematic event, with show notes formatted like a Hollywood script and a guest list that included Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, Mikey Madison, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jisoo, Greta Lee and Taylor Russell.
Months later, the museum is back in the spotlight. A new set of images, shared on social media on October 5, shows Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee and Taylor Russell posing together for Dior in front of gilded frames and classical paintings.
The photos come from the house’s cruise campaign, which WWD exclusively reported on October 5. It features Lawrence, Lee, Russell and actor Drew Starkey wandering through the museum and admiring some of its star attractions, including Claude Monet’s ‘Water Lilies’ and a Jacob van Ruisdael landscape.
Photographer Sam Rock shot the series, capturing the actors laughing together, contemplating the art or drifting into reverie. In the images circulating online, Lee, Russell and Lawrence huddle in front of a deep blue wall, while another frame shows Lawrence in a textured tweed jacket against a rust-colored backdrop.
The concept draws a parallel between Hollywood and the museum itself. Just as Hollywood is called a dream factory, the campaign suggests, the museum offers space for the imagination to roam.

The Monet painting does more than set the scene. It sparks thoughts of Paris, where the Musée de l’Orangerie houses the artist’s iconic water lilies, and echoes the flowers that bloom in the Dior autumn-winter 2026-2027 collection.
Accessories also take center stage. New bags in the campaign include the Dior Double, a two-handled satchel, and the Dior Initials Hobo, which has a triangular shape and a stitched cannage motif.
The photos show the cast in a mix of tailored coats, a sparkly draped dress and layered textures. The styling is relaxed rather than formal, which gives the images a candid, gallery-visit feel.
Each of the trio has a long history with the brand. Lawrence has been allied with Dior since 2011, when she was announced as the new face of the Miss Dior handbag line, and she has appeared in several campaigns since.
Lee was one of the first faces to join Anderson’s Dior and starred in the house’s first coed campaign for his debut collections, shot by David Sims. Russell was named a Dior brand ambassador earlier this year, becoming the latest former Loewe face to follow Anderson to the house after Lee, Josh O’Connor and Starkey.
The group has also been spotted together at shows. All three were in Paris for the Dior spring show on September 29, where Lawrence wore a cool-blue nightgown-style look and baby blue bow-heeled sandals.
For Dior, the campaign is another example of Anderson’s approach to celebrity. Rather than staging stiff product shots, he pairs actors who know each other with locations that tell a story.
It also reinforces the link between fashion and film that the house has been building all year. The cruise show at LACMA, the front-row lineups and the museum-set campaign all feed a single narrative about Dior as a creative world rather than just a label.
The full cruise campaign is slated for release in October, so more images from the series are likely on the way. For fans of any of the three actors, it’s a chance to see them together in a setting that feels more like a day out than a photoshoot.
